PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS (PFA), Dehradoon is a Registered Not for Profit, Non – Government Charitable Trust under Indian Trsut Act 1860. We work to improve the lives of animals in our community and beyond. All our programmes are driven by our belief in the intrinsic dignity and sanctity of animal life.

PFA Doon runs an Animal Hospital & Recovery Centre, the only one of its kind in the State of Uttarakhand. The Facility houses majorly sick animals. It is also a permanent sanctuary for the old, infirm and the special need animals.
PFA work include rescue, relief and rehabilitation of homeless and abandoned animals in distress. We implement Birth Control and Anti-Rabies Programme for community dogs and encourage responsible animal guardianship. We fight against animal cruelty, work for the implementation of Animal Protection Laws, promote humane treatment of animals and support environment conservation initiatives.
